  1. I learned a lot doing this piece of work. It is an effective tool that can be used by students to make a learning unit more interesting.
We were able to incorporate many aspects of technology in this ActiveLesson eg: using slideshare, trackstar, creating google documents (forms), mindmeister, audio to name a few.
This ActiveLesson has been adapted from a Unit which is taught in Food Technology covering 3 lessons in real time. It helps to give students an overall perspective of the Unit and makes connections between lessons.
Thoroughly enjoyed working on it as a group. I am confident I will be able to create many more ActiveLessons as a teacher going forward.

  2. I couldn't agree more with you, Sanju! This ActiveLesson has provided me great ideas on how to get our students more engaged and interested in their learning. Looking ahead in this profession, technology will definitely be an essential tool for teaching and learning in the classroom.

  3. Developing this project has been great to enhance our knowledge of the different media that we can use to add variety to learning. Through the initial research and exploration of other projects, it it has really given us all great ideas on how to use active lessons for a wide variety of lesson types and subjects.

  4. This is the first time I get in touch with ActiveLesson. It's much more interactive than many other tools we learnt. It really helps to facilitate the planning of learning for students with individual learning needs. Accommodations and pace could be modified for different students.
